Right Message, Right Audience
I met a couple about a year ago with a great product and drive to see the product through production. At that time, they had already been working on their idea for over a year. They have patented the product, they have a great team, and a great plan put together. Their issue, funding.
A lot of times the issue for entrepreneurs is getting their vision across to the proper audience to help in funding the vision. Entrepreneurs are pretty good at showing their passion for their idea, but may lack the proper presentation or be presenting to the wrong group of people. They become wary about anyone really helping and try to drive their idea forward on their own. Sometimes this works out, but the majority end up going back out on the trail of funding.
Now the couple (from above) has continued on that trail and has developed their presentation, gathered more data pertaining to their market, and have kept asking “is this the right audience?”. I have had the opportunity to put them in front of some investors and with that connection those investors actually pointed them to another group who appears to be the right audience. They are in the middle of due diligence at this time.
As the entrepreneurial spirit has taken over your life, you need to use that to help drive you, so that you can see your vision come to fruition. Keep looking for the right audience.
